I became interested in computers when I was 15. It always puzzled me how these "magical machines" work inside. I then discovered Linux, and started with programming. Since then I learned various programming languages and methodologies, worked on various projects from realtime systems to websites built with RoR. And after all, I'm still proud of making bugs, errors and SEGFAULTS along the way. I absolutely love POSIX standard and OSS, and my favourite languages are C++, Go and Ruby. In my spare time I like to be with my family, or go in the nature - mountains, lakes, parks, you name it :)
I've 11 years experience in support/development roles across various technologies. I also spend some time lecturing IT at South West College.
In my free time I like to take part in, coach or watch sports. I'm particularly interested in swimming, cycling and running. I'm also a keen photographer.
